MATTHEW’S PLACE
THRIFT SHOP & FOOD PANTRY
Matthew’s Place Thrift Store and Food Pantry opened its doors on Mar. 19, 1990 as a not-for-profit organization whose purpose follows the Bible verse of Matthew 25:35-36. They do this by offering an inexpensive place to obtain clothing and household goods.
Over the years, the merchandise has expanded to include brand name products, vintage collectibles and antiques. Thrift store earnings cover routine expenses, buying perishable food items for the food pantry, and support for other community outreach programs that benefit children, veterans, and the underprivileged.
